Mrs. Charles Estes, a Greencastle woman, who husband died a few weeks ago of blood poisoning which developed from an injury received while working at the American Zinc Products Plant will receive compensation of $11.75 a week for 300 weeks and $100 for funeral expenses, according to a schedule fixed by the State Compensation board. The schedule has been fixed and the finding of the board probably will be certified within a short time. Recently a member of the State Compension Board was in Greencastle to ascertain the facts in the case and a hearing was held in the courthouse. Following the hearing the State Compensation board fixed the schedule of compensation due Mrs. Estes. The Zinc Co. carried liability insurance and the compensation will be paid by the insurance company carrying the risk.
